The Concept EQ heralded the launch of a whole new generation of electric vehicles from Mercedes Benz. EQ represents intelligent electromobility. Mercedes EQS
The Vision EQS will be the company’s new flagship electric car. The mass produced model will be shown in 2020and sales will start by 2021. Talking about the novelty features, each of the two axles of the car received its own electric motor which produces a total output of 476 horsepower and the torque is 760 nm. The run to 0-100 is under 4.5 seconds but the power reserve on the other hand is quite remarkable 700 kilometers. Mercedes Benz EQS draws attention for it futuristic design, the manufacturer made great emphasis on lighting thus the grill cover consists of 188 elements each equipped with 5 LED’s adding to a total of 940 and the rear lights are operated by 229 LED’s. How amazing is that.
Smart Vision EQ
Driverless two-seater Smart Vision EQ ForTwo is the city car of the future. Daimler believes that these vehicles will be used for smart car sharing in the nearest future. EQ ForTwo will get a 30-kilowatt hour battery that will allow almost constant operation throughout the day ad if the charge is low it will automatically go to the station. The interiors are high tech but at the same time minimalistic. The deadline that is set by the company is the year 2022. So hopefully Vision EQ will be on the roads by then.
Mercedes EQA
EQA is built on the modular platform that will be used or a new EV lineup and will allow flexible reshaping of the future models by altering motors, bodies, and batteries. EQA is a three-door all-electric vehicle with interesting design features, two motors on each axle with a combined output of 272 horsepower. The installed battery was produced to store a 60-kilowatt hour battery charge, ensuring 400 kilometers of range, and every 10 minutes spent at the station will add 100 kilometers of driving range.
Mercedes EQV
Mercedes-Benz Vans is consistently advancing the electrification of its product portfolio. With the Concept EQV, they are now taking the next step. As a family companion, the concept EQV features a compact electric drivetrain (eATS) on the front axle with an output of 150 kW. Energy is supplied by a lithium-ion battery. Thanks to a capacity of 100 kWh, a maximum range of up to 400 kilometres is realistic. And with a top speed of 160 km/h, it ensures superior driving pleasure even out of town. The concept vehicle can be conveniently charged at home using a Mercedes-Benz wallbox or a regular household plug socket. For even more flexibility in the daily routine, there is also a rapid charging function: within just 15 minutes, the battery can be charged with sufficient energy for a range of around 100 kilometres.
EQ Smart for two & four
Smart ForTwo electric is the best choice for situation when you just have to navigate through traffic during rush hour, run through little streets or even squeeze in a small space in the parking lot. This small and affordable EV is equipped with a 64 horsepower electric motor that makes 13 KGM of torque with automatic transmission; the Smart electric can go from standstill to 100 KPH in 11 seconds with a maximum speed of 125 kilometers per hour. The water cooled AC motor draws its power from a 17.6 kilowatt per hour lithium-ion battery and can provide up to 110 kilometers of driving range. When the installed battery runs low, you can recharge till 100% in six hours.
Mercedes EQC
We have been eagerly expecting Mercedes All electric SUV ever since the EQ concept was introduced two years ago, right on schedule the production model saw the world in 2018 becoming the first ever Mercedes Benz SUV to be powered by electricity only. Size wise this model could be compared with C-class hence the name EQ-C, where the first two letters corresponds to the name of newly formed Mercedes sub brand. The EV will be brought to life by two electric motors that is one per axel which will yield 402 horsepower and have all wheel drive capability. The promise range should be around 460 kilometers thanks to the 80kWh lithium-ion battery produced by in house Deutsche accumulative subsidiary. Mercedes EQC’s is opening a new page in the brands history starting the line-up of nine EQ models that are scheduled for release by 2025.
Vision Mercedes Benz Maybach Six
This Mercedes Vision is a prototype concept car that attempts t show off the luxury of the future Mercedes cars. The car blends design features of the past with new innovative design features of the future. It showcases two main characteristics Hot & Cold. The Hot characteristics, refers to the emotional design of the car and the cold characteristics refers to the intelligent details. The car has a 360-degree lounge with padded leather upholstery. The car seats are able to monitor the passenger’s vital signs, allowing the car to automatically adjust the interior settings. The seats are also equipped with massage functions so they can administer the massages while the driver is driving.
Mercedes Benz F-015
The Mercedes F-015 is an insane prototype that assumes that autonomous driving will come to fruition in the near future because of this assumption the car is designed around the concept that drivers will have a lot more time to hang out and relax in their vehicles. So the Mercedes F0 15 has turned the interior of the car into a functional urban living space. Pictures of this concept car show people inside of the car relaxing around a small table. There are four seats in the car made of decadent white leather. These seats are not only luxurious though but also can swivel to face each other. The interior of the car can therefore transform into an informal gathering are.
